Flange Facing Machines

E.H. Wachs offers a range of machine tools for resurfacing flat face and raised flange faces and machining RTJ grooves.

If you’re looking for more than just a flange facer, the DynaPrep MDSF Split frame pipe cutter / beveller also makes an excellent lighter weight flange facer, with available modules designed for flat face, raised face, record grooving and machining RTJ grooves. For flanges up to 58 inches (depending on ring size) they are highly versatile precision machine tools.

For larger flanges, the LDSF Large Diameter Split Frame is ideal for pipe and vessels up to 120 inches in diameter. Built in quadrants, this machine is typically used on pipe, vessels, heat exchangers, and steam generators.

If you’re looking for end prep bevelers or tools that mount to the inside of the pipe, Wachs FF Series Facers can face from 2 inches to 24 inches, and the EP 424 End Prep can face up to 24 inches and out to 36 inches with a special module.
