E.H. Wachs powered handheld valve operators are built for quick operation and exercising of non-rising (P-2 or Pow-R-Drive 2) and rising stem valves (RS-2 or Rising Stem 2). The electric powered P-2 and electric and pneumatic powered RS-2 deliver powerful torque where needed. Electric powered models offer standard (P-2) or optional (RS-2) electronic torque control powered by VITALS, to further enhance operator safety, and mitigate the potential for valve damage.
Both the P-2 and RS-2 are field portable for the quick and safe operation of most valves, including handwheel valves (with optional handwheel adapter) and post indicator valves (PIV). Designed for faster operation and improved operator safety, Wachs valve turners reduce the arm and back injuries associated with manually turning valves all day or attempting to turn large, stubborn, or frozen industrial valves.
When valves must be opened or closed quickly in critical situations, Wachs valve turners provide the power and speed to rapidly operate even the largest valves.
