Small Bore Test and Isolation Plugs

These Small Bore Isolation and Test Plugs are designed to provide an isolation barrier on localized field repairs and modifications. Each plug incorporates unique features such as solid molded Buna-N seals and multi purposed that make it the most application efficient tool on the market while keeping safety the number one goal. This equipment is designed to isolate, monitor, and vent hydrocarbon vapors to a safe area, then repositioned to straddle the weld to perform a hydrostatic test within the annular body.

  • Lightweight Design: Stainless Steel and Aluminum Body
  • Low cost seal replacement/longer seal life
  • Isolate and test with the same tool
  • Seal materials are one piece molded and manufactured from proprietary Buna blend
  • Gripper attachments to increase back pressure rating to up to 1500 PSI available upon request
  • Thru Port vented to allow the venting of residual upstream gas and vapors away to a safe area; this port can also be used to purge low pressure nitrogen through.
  • Designed with a 1.5 Safety Factor
  • Special sizes and configurations within reason, can be designed upon request
